Paperless hospital will save time and money

Eradicating paper based medical records at Noble's Hospital will improve efficiency and save money.
That's the pledge from the Department of Health and Social Care which has committed to go digital by the end of 2018.
100,000 medical and maternity records - which are currently held in paper based folders - will be scanned and digitised.
It means patient records can be accessed quicker by front line medical staff with reductions in time spent filing, tracking, searching and retrieving records.
