Island concerns after UK abortion clinics are suspended

Concerns have been raised about the increased difficulties for local women who are being forced to travel off the Island to have an abortion.
The Campaign for Abortion Law Modernisation group says women now have even less choice than before after the suspension of surgical abortions at Marie Stopes' clinics.
The procedure has been voluntarily stopped whilst a review is carried out meaning there is only one provider now carrying out the service in the UK.
CALM is campaigning for the Island's abortion law to be changed so women can receive medical treatment here - spokeswoman Sam Morris says the statistics back up their concerns:
