The Isle of Man Constabulary will be using a drone for the Festival of Motorcycling.

 

It's hoped the device will provide support in evidence gathering at serious Road Traffic Collision scenes, crime scenes and also in search of missing vulnerable people.

 

The trial seeks to prove if a drone can reduce demand on policing, following serious collisions the Constabulary wish to get roads opened sooner.

 

The drone is a Pilot DJI Phantom 4, which will be finished in Police livery with high intensity blue flashing strobes - you can see it on our website.
