A tram horse which 'tripped over his front feet' on Douglas Promenade yesterday will be back in service soon.
That's according to Isle of Man Railways - six-year-old 'Torin' fell whilst working at lunchtime.
He went down opposite the Castle Mona - there were reports the tram he was pulling fell on top of him and had to be removed by members of staff and passers-by.
Torin was walked back to the stables and checked over by a vet who treated his superficial grazes - he missed the 140th anniversary parade as a result but is due to be back in service after a 'few days' rest'.
