The weekly Monday evening series of matches at Sinclair Range continued this week under the control of Range Officer, Brian Fozard, having just returned from visiting his family in the USA, with the matches commencing at 7.15 prompt.
Harry Creevy posted his second 618 + in 7 days on Monday in the IoM Rifle Association’s Jamaica Trophy round 4 and round 2 of The Osborn Carpets 2nd 600 series. The new decimal method of scoring is now showing the superiority of some of the Islands best target shooters and Creevy is leading the way by maintaining consistently high scores each week. Monday once again, had benevolent weather conditions except for a small period during the match when the sun decided to appear just 10 minutes into the detail. This appears to have affected all of those shooting as the scores dipped slightly during series 2 and 3.
