It's time for government to tackle the growing problem of cyber bullying on the Isle of Man.
That's according to its physical and emotional health officer - this type of torment is shown to have risen by eight per cent amongst 11-18-year olds.
Those figures are contained in the recent Youth Survey - which surveyed almost 1,400 adolescents - it also showed physical violence is declining.
Schools are required to have an anti-bullying policy which is developed in conjunction with the community - Mal Keary says those policies need to evolve with new trends:
