A Douglas man has been fined £325 after making a "real nuisance of himself" after drinking.
Police found 31-year-old Mark Bell on Market Street just after 10pm on January 22nd - he was stumbling and his speech was so slurred it was "incoherent".
At Douglas Courthouse this week he admitted being drunk and incapable - his advocate described it as a "relapse" and said Bell had little recollection of the incident when waking up in a cell.
Sentencing him Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes also imposed a six month licensing ban telling him "you really are a fool to yourself".
