Fishermen who lost arm backs new RNLI campaign

A former Manx fisherman who lost his arm at sea after becoming tangled in a winch is backing a new safety campaign run by the RNLI.

Peel man Jamie Griffin's story is featured in a video which urges skippers, and vessel owners, to apply for funding to replace dangerous deck machinery.

Lifeboats have rescued 46 people from fishing related incidents in Manx waters since 2011.
