New Laxey bridge to be in place for TT

	Laxey should have a new bridge by TT next year.
	That's what Garff MHK Steve Rodan was told in Tynwald this week when he queried how long it would take to build a replacement after it collapsed in flash flooding earlier this month.
	A temporary pedestrian bridge is now in place but government says it would be too expensive to install a similar structure for vehicles and it wouldn't represent "value for money".
	Design work has started with the funds for the crossing due to come from a government contingency fund - Mr Rodan says he wants that work to be carefully considered:
