Male police officers on the Island are pledging never to commit domestic violence, never to condone it and never to remain silent about it.
Today is White Ribbon Day - a national campaign which encourages men to take a stand about violence against women.
Since April police have recorded at least 250 reports of domestic violence - a 40 per cent increase on last year; Chief inspector Steve Maddocks says it has numerous forms.
