Child protection subject to Tynwald committee scrutiny
Tue, 24 Nov 2015
Child protection policies on the Island are being put under the spotlight.
The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee wants to hear first-hand accounts of people's experiences with social workers and the impact this has had on children and families.
The committee will scrutinise the Children and Families Social Services Division and look at how it processes assessments and inquiries.
Anyone who wants to share their viewpoint in confidence should contact the Deputy Clerk of Tynwald at Legislative Buildings.
