Residents on the Isle of Man have been hit by another price hike - the Sewerage Rate is being increased.
In Tynwald yesterday politicians voted in favour of increasing the rate to 92 pence in the pound - it currently stands at just over 61 pence.
The change will come into effect in April next year and will generate around £1.6 million for the Manx Utilities Authority.
The authority says a 50 per cent increase in sewerage revenues is needed for the next financial year and the Sewerage Rate is required to increase by the same proportion.
