Public is still vulnerable to opportunistic crime

People need to stop leaving themselves open to opportunistic criminals and risk becoming victims of crime.
Police have dealt with a number of burglaries over the last month - despite the fact its winter crime prevention campaign is in full-swing.
Inspector Derek Flint says the "time to change" message is simple but people are still being too complacent.
Last week, they caught a burglar who raided two homes in Douglas - in both cases he'd entered through unlocked doors; Inspector Flint says people have to help themselves:
