Neil Walker died in 2014
The trial of a man accused of causing the death of a retained firefighter is due to start today.
Derbyshire man James Ricketts has denied causing the death of 43-year-old Neil Walker by careless or inconsiderate driving.
The Ramsey man died on August 6th last year after a collision on the Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road near Bulgham Rocks.
The trial, which is being presided over by Deemster Birkett, is expected to last for seven days.
