JCK Limited will stand trial after pleading not guilty to causing the death of a construction worker in 2013.
The plant hire and demolition company denies failing to discharge duty on or about May 1st at a sewerage treatment works in Kirk Michael.
55-year-old construction worker Gareth Sowden died from crush injuries whilst working on the site.
The case has now been adjourned for a pre-trial review to take place on November 26th.
Another company involved in the case – Tuke and Bell Limited – has previously admitted the charge and will be sentenced following the conclusion of the trial.
