Trial for man who denies obstructing PC
Sat, 26 Sep 2015
A Castletown man will stand trial next year after denying obstructing a police officer.
21-year-old Christopher Lunt appeared at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week where a two-day trial was scheduled to start on January 11th.
He's previously pleaded guilty to a public order offence on August 12th in Castletown Square but denies obstructing the male officer at Noble's Hospital later the same day.
Lunt is also awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to trying to attack the Island's High Bailiff John Needham at a court sitting on May 30th.
The sentencing will take place on conclusion of the trial.
