Dave Corlett won Ayre Clay Target Club’s English Skeet league competition in dull conditions at Blue Point on Sunday. Corlett missed just one target in the 50 target shoot, scoring 49/50. Jeff Corkill and Martin Kneen were joint second on 48.
Corlett also won the 100 target competition with a total of 97. Kevin Oates shot 50 straight in the second half to take second place on 96. Kneen was third on 94.
Kneen won the 50 target league overall; Corlett was second with Oates third. Oates won the100 league, Corlett was again second with Kneen third.

A Class: 1, Dave Corlett 49; 2= Martin Kneen and Jeff Corkill 48.
B Class: 1, Keith Jones 47; 2, Peter Fabrizio 46; 3, Giulio Fabrizio 45.
C Class: 1, Fred Waggett 41; 2, Peter Lowe 39; 3 Gareth Hooson-Owen 38.
