Revised Douglas Promenade plans to go on display tomorrow
Thu, 03 Sep 2015
Revised plans for Douglas Promenade are being laid out at the Sea Terminal.
The unmanned display will be presented this Friday - highlighting changes to the original designs.
Infrastructure have amended planning drawings to include improvements to road safety - including signal controlled pedestrian crossings to assist vulnerable users.
It's also being proposed that horse tram tracks are relaid between the War Memorial and Queen's Gardens - with the track running on the pavement adjacent to the road.
A new planning application is also available on the government website.
