Man accused of charity box theft is remanded

A Douglas man has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison after being accused of stealing a charity box.
30-year-old Adam Cowin appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday charged with one count of theft from August 22nd.
It's alleged he stole a collection box intended for Marie Curie from The Empress Hotel in Douglas.
He'll next appear in court on September 3rd when he is due to be sentenced for other matters.
