Island joins Europe-wide Viking tourism initiative

The Isle of Man has joined a major international initiative which will boost the Island's Viking tourism profile.

The 'Follow the Vikings' project has been set up by the Shetland Amenity Trust using a two million euro grant.

Manx National Heritage is part of the scheme joining other European countries that also boast a rich Viking heritage.
