Island Games team heads for Jersey

The Manx Island Games Team has begun its journey to Jersey.

218 competitors and 47 officials will fly the flag in 14 sports at the 16th NatWest Island Games which start tomorrow and run until July 3rd.

The first event began in 1985 on the Isle of Man, known back then as the Inter Island Games.

Cycling team boss Scott Morgan says the standard of cyclists this year is excellent:
