Nurses urge patients to Stop the Pressure

Island nurses are getting behind a campaign to reduce cases of pressure ulcers.
These occur when an area of the skin is placed under prolonged stress, resulting in the skin and underlying tissue to break down - they are also known as bed sores.
The 'Stop the Pressure' campaign is particularly targeting long term patients and people struggling with mobility issues.
Pam Fulton is the tissue viability specialist nurse at Noble's Hospital - she has these tips on how to avoid the painful ailment:
