Government isn't looking at outsourcing the Villa Marina and Gaiety Theatre complex because it's failed to profit from past concerts.
That's according to the Minister for Economic Development.
Laurence Skelly has said the idea has been muted before, but it's now time to take action.
Expressions of interest will be sought to outsource operations for both government-owned venues from June.
It's as a result of recommendations published in the 'Scope of Government' report.
