Securing horse tram tracks will cost three million pounds

Radical plans to re-develop Douglas Promenade are likely to split public opinion.
That's the view of the Infrastructure Minister who unveiled the new scheme yesterday.
Relocating the horse trams comes with a price tag of £3.5 million - a fraction of the total cost of the project which comes in at £21 million and will take between three and five years to complete.
Phil Gawne says the plan has been devised factoring in Tynwald's continued support for the popular tourist attraction:
