New scheme will see elderly engage with modern technology

Social isolation within the Island's elderly community is being tackled - thanks to modern technology.

A new project - between government, the business community and the third sector, is being piloted in the south of the Island.

Four residents have been provided with tablet computers for six months in a bid to promote "digital inclusion" - ensuring all groups in society can benefit from the internet.
