Ayre Clay Target Club held two competitions at a wet and windy Blue Point on Sunday.
The 50 target English Sporting league shoot was kindly sponsored by the Trafalgar Hotel of Ramsey. Marty Kneen was the winner on 40/50. Kevin Oates was three clays behind with 37 for second. Nigel Moffatt was third on 36.
The 100 target Sporting competition was also won by Kneen on 86 with Oates second on 80. Paul Mihailovits was third on 75.
Results of Trafalgar Hotel Sporting League:
A Class: 1, Martin Kneen 40; 2, Kevin Oates 37; 3, Neil Parsons 35.
B Class: 1, Nigel Moffatt 36; 2, Jack Kneen 29; 3, Juan Cowley 22.
C Class: 1, Jason Bulliment 29; 2, Corina Clague 22; 3, Gareth Hooson-Owen 21.
This week at Blue Point there are two selection shoots: Olympic Trap and Olympic Skeet. Entries for both close at 10.15am. Practice in other disciplines will be available.
