Railway bosses should be held accountable for the "disastrous purchase" of a diesel locomotive which cost over £400,000.
That's the claim made by Onchan MHK Peter Karran, who is questioning if the 2013 buy is fit-for-purpose.
Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says he appreciates people do have concerns after a number of issues.
The locomotive carries out a number of essential tasks and will ensure the long-term future of heritage railways.
However, Mr Gawne says there are still problems to iron out:
