Healthcare needs of people on the Isle of Man won't always mirror those of people in the United Kingdom.
That's the message from local GPs who are meeting this afternoon to discuss how to ensure their contracts can be made more applicable to the Island.
Locum doctors will be covering whilst the meeting takes place - surgeries will remain open for people to make routine appointments, collect test results and order repeat prescriptions.
