Steam Packet sailings back to normal

Steam Packet sailings are running to schedule again after engineers successfully repaired the Ben-my-Chree.

Yesterday the boat had to undergo work after it suffered mechanical failure and a problem with its propeller.

Hundreds of passengers were left stranded on-board on Thursday night after the captain was forced to anchor in Douglas Harbour when the boat lost control.

Yesterday's sailings ran with delays - chief executive Mark Woodward has thanked those who came to the ship's rescue:
