Bitterly cold conditions for the February Handicap
Sunday morning February 1st proved to be excellent conditions for shooting except for the bitter temperature where the thermometer hit -2 degrees. Very little wind and sunshine would normally produce high scores in the 50 metre outdoor match but only ten shooters braved the cold. Highest gun score o the morning went to Andy Potter, who was one of just two shooters who produced 100’s, the other being the handicap match winner, Mike Clague. With just the ten competitors, the clubs full allocation of electronic targets came into use and final results were produced almost immediately on completion of the match. Many thanks once again, to Brian Fozard who acted as Range Officer.
