Crime surgery to help stop complacency after burglaries

People are being warned not to become complacent despite a lull after the recent burglary epidemic.
That's the message from police who are holding a crime prevention surgery at Peel Sailing Club, between 12pm and 2pm, today.
Officers from the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team, and representatives from locksmiths and alarm companies, will be on hand to answer any concerns or queries.
Sergeant Gavin Callow says it's a good time to remind people to take simple security measures:
