A man involved in an armed stand-off with police has been further remanded in prison after his case was adjourned.
23-year-old Christopher Seed appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday to answer four charges relating to an incident on January 16th.
He is accused of affray, assault causing actual bodily harm, assaulting a police officer and assault causing wounding.
The Douglas man was involved in an incident at his home address on Taubman Terrace - it's alleged he injured the policeman with a "sword".
No pleas were entered due to a request by his advocate to have more time to consider photographic evidence of the injury sustained to the officer's thumb.
He also asked that all of his client's matters be referred to the Court of General Gaol Delivery together - Seed is due to be sentenced for 11 other offences from 2014.
A bail application was refused and he was remanded in prison - he'll next appear in court on Tuesday, February 3rd.
