MHK claims new care home will be built at Glenside

A major development has been muted for the former Glenside care home site in Douglas.
The government owned facility closed its doors for the final time in 2013 - ever since there has been uncertainty as to what would take its place.
According to the MHK with responsibility for Adult Services the building will be demolished and existing care home Reayrt Ny Baie will relocate to the site - being housed in a brand new facility.
It'll be a capital spend project for government - David Quirk says in principle work could start very soon:
