Post Office staff have been given more information about the closed tender process concerning the two crown offices.
Along with their unions, and Ramsey Commissioners, they've been given details which the interested parties were given during negotiations.
It's in a bid to see if they can identify alternative options to generate savings after the news the offices would be changed to sub-post offices and moved into the SPAR shops.
The two offices in Douglas and Ramsey are currently losing £750,000 a year - government says this plan would save £360,000.
Staff have now been invited to put forward new proposals during the three month deferral period.
