An 18-year old man accused of death by dangerous driving has been granted leave for a holiday.
Brandon Thomas Gowland appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.
Charges were recently brought against him; including causing one death and serious bodily harm as a result of careless driving on the 24th August 2014.
Deputy High Bailiff Jane Hughes set his bail at £500 and said he isn't allowed to leave the Isle of Man without the courts permission.
However, a holiday was granted later that day between the 26th December and the 2nd January 2015 in respect of bail.
No pleas were made and he will next appear in court at 10am on the 20th January 2015.
