Bid to return stolen items to owners

Police have taken to Facebook to try and reunite a gold pocket watch with its owner.

It was among a number of items recovered on Friday which officers believe were stolen.

Last night they posted numerous photographs online - including a food gift set and toiletries - in a bid to reunite people with their goods.

Police say they believe they were delivered through the post or by a courier but were taken before reaching the intended recipients.
