Chief Minister baffled by MHK's pension excuses

Chief Minister Allan Bell says it's 'highly unlikely' that Treasury has orchestrated the failure of North Douglas MHK John Houghton to pay into his pension.

It follows his claims that he had no idea the contributions weren't being deducted from his monthly salary.

He blames Treasury for neglecting to inform him of the deficit.

Mr Bell explained why he doesn't believe Treasury is at fault:
