Two stalwarts of IoMSC Sandsiders, Bill Jones and Richard Arthur led the way with both posting creditable 99’s. Kirk Michael have a close match with Sulby
Having recently shot excellent matches with wins in Division 1 in both cases, Kirk Michael failed to continue their winning streak when they were visited by a strong Sulby team. Although loosing the match, Kirk Michael maintained a terrific score, dropping by just 3 extra points to Sulby’s 485. Top score for the hosts went to Kevin Quinn on 98 with Tom Lord and Les Crowe, both hitting 97. The return to shooting of Les Crowe seems to have been a revelation for the compact village team – thanks and well done Les - long may it continue. Once again, Julian Teare claimed the lead for Sulby with a 99 but Teddy Sayle and Peter Webb were close on 97 each.

Closest match of the night at the Glen Gardens Laxey Range
Laxey hosted a strong team from Sinclair range, IoMSC Douglas and the visitors left Laxey as losers by just a single point. John Wood and the “ever green” Harry Creevy both produced excellent 99’s for Laxey closely followed by Nick Kennish and junior shooter James Hewison both on 97, with what I understand, is a terrific personal best in a league match for the Laxey youngster. Tracey Skelton hit 98 for the visitors with Andy Potter and David Humphrey on 97. Consolation wins for the visitors were in Divisions 2 & 3.

Dates for your Diaries
Next week’s league matches, December 15th, will see Sulby v Port St Mary (now there’s the promise of a great match), IoMSC Sandsiders hosting Laxey and IoMSC Douglas travelling north to Kirk Michael. This week the Cossack’s bye goes to Castletown.
Entries should now be with the Comp Sec for The J B Richie Trophy, The G Jones Trophy and The 101 Challenge Cup, but I am sure he would accept a couple of late entries so long as it is over the next couple of days.
