Urgent Tynwald question tabled on post offices

South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft has tabled an urgent question for this afternoon's sitting of Tynwald.

It relates to the closure of the Island's two largest post offices.

Permission has been granted for her to ask about the reasons for the proposed closure and why the opportunity to provide sub-post offices didn't go out to tender.

The question will be asked following a debate on the Nunnery.
