Witnesses sought to two serious road traffic collisions

Police are seeking witnesses to the two separate serious road traffic collisions yesterday.

The first incident saw a biker killed following a collision on the Creg Ny Baa back road at around 1.00pm.

It was a single vehicle incident, and the male motorcyclist, believed to be a visitor to the Island, died at the scene.

The second incident saw six people taken to Nobles hospital following a two vehicle collision in Foxdale.

A blue Peugeot van collided with a ford focus on the St John's to Foxdale road; the injuries ranged from minor to serious.

Among the injured were three young children.
