Potter continues to set the pace
Andy Potter has been shooting exceptionally well lately and this Monday’s round 3 Osborn Carpets 2nd 600 match, was another display of near perfection. Potter claimed the match by a clear five points on 591 from another two improving shooters, Mike Clague and Andy Traynor who produced personal best results of the year. Full results were:-

Traynor takes the Empire Garage Tynwald Shield Handicap
Andy Traynor has been having mixed results recently but on Monday evening, he produced a PB in his scratch match which gave him a single point win in the Empire Garage Tynwald Shield handicap competition. Full results were:-

The Sixth and final round of the IoM Rifle Associations Jamaica Trophy goes Potter’s way
Run concurrently with the Osborn Carpets match, the sixth and final round of the Isle of Man Rifle Associations Jamaica Trophy was claimed by Andy Potter with 591 x 600, taking the class A in the process. Class B was won by Mike Clague and Class C by Andy Traynor. I will give a full list of the 2014 Jamaica Trophy results in the near future.
Thomas Clague is top shot in the Sadler Junior Championship round thirteen
Thomas Clague gave an excellent display on Monday evening in the Sadler Junior Championship when he posted a score eight points ahead of his main adversary, Illiam Christian. Full results were:-

2 – Illiam Christian 94, 94, 94 = 282
3 – Alex Trafford 91, 96, 91 = 278
Bill Jones has forwarded the results for rounds five and six of the Ulster Counties summer Leagues and they will be in this column in the near future as I am very conscious of column space in the sports section due to the Commonwealth Games reports over the next couple of weeks.
