900 Manx households surveyed for income and expenditure

Results of an income and expenditure survey which surveyed 900 households on the Isle of Man have been released.

The survey takes a random sample of people and provides in-depth detail of income and spending patterns.

The information will be used to calculate and confirm the Island's share of VAT revenue for the UK's Customs and Excise Agreement.

I'll also be used to update both the Consumer Price Index and the Retail Price Index.
