Manannan sailings cancelled tomorrow

Sailings on Manannan have been cancelled tomorrow to allow the boat to be repaired.

Affected passengers have been contacted and offered an alternative means of travel.

The boat suffered damage during the TT fortnight after ingesting discarded fishing gear.

It meant it had to operate on reduced power due to the damaged shaft bearing.

The repair will take 24 hours to complete - the Steam Packet says it's picked this time due to it having the least number of bookings.
