Island could become 'test bed' for diabetes research

A 'lab on a stick' for potential diabetes sufferers might head this way.

BioMed says the Island could become a test bed for research into the technology, which may mean people have the opportunity for early diagnosis.

Currently in its development phase, a manufacturer is in place to provide the technology to two London university hospitals.

The BioMed meeting took place yesterday, attended by its head of inward investment and the Minister of Health and Social Care.
