More than 20 firefighters called to Bradda Head blaze

Over 20 firefighters have tackled a grass fire in Bradda West.
Two appliances from Port Erin were dispatched to the blaze, an off road vehicle and water carrier appliance have also been sent from Douglas.
The Incident Command Unit has been in attendance, working to stop the spread of the fire and damp down the surrounding grass.
Its cause is still unknown, but Chief fire officer Kevin Groom says they’ve learnt from past lessons:
