Neil Parsons won the latest Top Spec Fencing sponsored Olympic Trap Selection Shoot at Blue Point at the weekend, scoring 110/125.
Parsons won by one point from David ‘Wilfy’ Walton on 109 who took revenge for his recent defeat by his nephew Rob Watterson who came in third on 96.
In the medal matches, Parsons took the bronze from Watterson as Walton beat Phil Ward to the gold.
This week at Blue Point is the first 100 target English Sporting competition of the season; entries close at 10.15am. There will be a work party on Saturday from 12.30pm. Setting up on Sunday will be from 8.30. Please try to attend either or both of these as many hands make light work
