Attorney General extension had to wait until end of trial
Wed, 02 Apr 2014
Extending the acting Attorney General’s contract wasn't deemed appropriate until a court case had concluded.

John Quinn has held the position for the last year – after taking over from current Attorney General Stephen Harding who is suspended following a court case.
Allan Bell says it was important not to be premature with the extension and not to put any measures in place unless necessary
