Regent Street in Douglas "yarn bombed"

Regent Street in Douglas has been “yarn bombed”.
That’s the message from Douglas Development Partnership (DDP), which found colourful wool covering the trees and street furniture this morning.
The Manx Yarnies say the event – created with permission from the DDP - is a celebration of its 132-strong knitting and crochet group.
Organiser Lorna Trevethan tells us she hopes the “graffiti-meets-street-art installation” will brighten up the street and make people smile.
