Government looks at Glenside development ideas

There are ideas in the pipeline for how the old Glenside care home in Douglas can be redeveloped.

That’s according to the Social Care Minister who has defended why his department has retained ownership of it.

MHKs say the public wants to know what is happening to the facility – which is one of the largest sites government owns.

There has also been a suggestion the building should be put in the centralised asset management fund.
