Infrastructure Minister, David Cretney has confirmed in Tynwald today that British Airways will operate a daily London City route from next year.
The Island’s daily connection to the capital was seriously disrupted after Flybe withdrew from their Gatwick slot, thus losing the valuable route.
Minister Cretney said following long discussions with BA, they have committed to three daily return flights.
The new service will commence when the Gatwick routes comes to an end in March.
